turmeric latte


Turmeric can boost your metabolism and this latte is my alternative whenever I need something different from matcha latte tea (get the recipe https://afroditimanakou.wixsite.com/healthyfoodstories/single-post/2017/11/23/matcha-latte-tea).


Ingredients:

  • 1 cup non-dairy milk (unsweetened almond, coconut, rice, soy, or hemp)

  • 1tsp turmeric powder

  • 1/4 tsp ginger powder

  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon or small cinnamon stick (optional)

  • raw honey , maple syrup or stevia as sweetener


Instructions:



Whisk all ingredients in a pan over low heat. I use almond milk since I love the taste of it.Boil for approximately 20 minutes to allow ingredients to dissolve.​
