chicken with honey -garlic sauce and steamed rice



Ingredients:

  • 600 g chicken

  • 1/2 tbs garlic powder

  • 2 tbs honey

  • 1 tbs soy sauce

  • 1 tbs vinegar of white wine

  • thyme

  • 50 ml chicken broth

  • pepper

Instructions:


Mix the chicken fillets with pepper and thyme. On non-­stick frying pan on a medium-high heat fry the chicken fillets until they get a golden color at all sides and then add the honey, the broth, the soy sauce and vinegar. Continue to cook on a very low heat for a few minutes until the sauce is tied to a sticky texture. Serve and garnish with freshly sliced ​​parsley or other herbs and with whole-grain steamed rice.
