chicken with honey -garlic sauce and steamed rice
Ingredients:
600 g chicken
1/2 tbs garlic powder
2 tbs honey
1 tbs soy sauce
1 tbs vinegar of white wine
thyme
50 ml chicken broth
pepper
Instructions:
Mix the chicken fillets with pepper and thyme. On non-stick frying pan on a medium-high heat fry the chicken fillets until they get a golden color at all sides and then add the honey, the broth, the soy sauce and vinegar. Continue to cook on a very low heat for a few minutes until the sauce is tied to a sticky texture. Serve and garnish with freshly sliced parsley or other herbs and with whole-grain steamed rice.
