wholegrain bread-sticks with linseeds and sunflower seeds

Regarding this recipe, I tell you, you have to trust me 100%. This kind of bread-sticks is something I love and unfortunately doesn't exist in Sweden ,where I live. So last year I started making them by myself , buuut i failed like a million times. After having tried a great number of different recipes ,I ended up to this one, based on many others with variations!

Ingredients:

  • 150 g whole grain flour

  • 150 g self rising flour

  • 1.5 tbs baking powder

  • 4 tbs olive oil

  • 3/4 cup lukewarm water

  • sunflower seeds

  • linseeds

  • salt

  • sugar

  • thyme

  • rosemary

Instructions:

In a bowl put the flour, the baking powder and the salt (about 1 tbs but if you want you can modify it). Mix them well. Then add the thyme, rosemary and oil and mix until there are crumbs. Then slowly add the water by kneading it until you have a nice dough. Cut cords at a length equal to the size your bread-sticks you want to have and roll them into a small dish in which you have mixed linseeds and sunflower seeds to stick to them. Place on a baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about half an hour.
