watermelony dessert

Today, I remembered that many years ago I had a recipe for a dessert with watermelon, which I loved and I made every summer. After having tried really really hard to find the small piece of paper where I wrote it, I made it had the urge share it with you! It is very simple and consists of a jelly and a cream.


Ingredients:


For the watermelon jello


  • 600 g of seedless watermelon

  • 40 g stevia

  • 40 g water

  • 4 gelatin sheets f (20 g)

  • a few leaves of fresh basil or mint

For the yoghurt cream

  • 600 g greek yoghurt

  • 100 g honey

  • 2 gelatin sheets (10 g)



Instructions:

We start by making the watermelon jello. Place the leaves of the gelatin in cold water. Boil for 1/2 minute the sugar with water, remove from the heat and pour the sheets of the gelatin, which you have already softened in the cold water. Mix and pour into the bowl with the mashed watermelon.

Chop the basil or the mint into the mixture and pour it into bowls. Leave in the refrigerator until they stabilize and prepare the yogurt cream. For yoghurt cream. For starters place the gelatin leaves in cold water so as to soften. Stir the yoghurt with the honey very well and melt the gelatin sheets by putting them with a small glass of water in the fire. Be careful not to burn. Pour into yoghurt and mix. Then put the yoghurt cream in the bowls over the gel.

Leave them several hours in the refrigerator to freeze.You can eat them through the bowl, or you can smear them upside down o a plate.
