cabbage soup
It is still summer, but a nice warm soup can always be a choice. Cabbage soup for today!
Ingredients:
1/2 white cabbage
1 large carrot
1 pepper
1 onion
3-4 fresh onions
1 paprika
vegetable cube
a bunch of celery
thyme
salt
pepper
sweet paprika
ginger
2 laurel leaves
1 tbs olive oil
lemon juice
Instructions:
In a large pot we put all our vegetables after having cut them along with the oil. Add water until it covers them, as well as the cube and all your herbs and spices in the quantity you want. Boil for about 10 minutes at the maximum temperature and then lower to half. Remove when all the vegetables (and especially the carrot) are soft enough. Serve with freshly ground pepper and lemon juice.
