spicy beef with broccoli
Our holidays are approaching, and whenever we leave for a long time we need to empty the fridge and freezer, to do the well-established summer defrosting. This means I have to be creative to combine what I have left!
Ingredients:
1/2 kg broccoli
200 g minced beef
4-5 tbs corn cooked
2 tsp soy sauce
fresh ginger (or powder)
1 clove of garlic (or garlic powder)
chilly pepper
hot paprika
celery
parsley
lemon
salt
pepper
Instructions:
On a non-stick pan, cook the minced beef. (I don't use any oil at all, there is no problem). Add a bunch of broccoli and a little water. Once it starts boiling, add the soy, the garlic either scraped or whole (which I prefer to remove at the end), pepper, ginger, paprika and finally salt and pepper.enough . Leave on high heat to let broccoli get ready. Finally, add the parsley and the celery and mix. Once ready, add the cooked corn and slices of lemon. You can serve with some yogurt / lime sauce or as I did, with Philadelphia. Personally I love spicy foods and for this particular dish I used philadelphia sweet chilli !!!!! Be careful with the amount of salt, soy is salty
